Come visit me on BlogHer and give me more advice on getting the kids to school on time. Please. Pretty please, even.
August 2010 Archives

School kids about the ages of my girls made all the tiles on this fence. The tiles are messages to the victims of the September 11th, 2001 air attacks on New York City.
I really, really like it here. The air vibrates constantly, like the down part of the big roller coaster hill -- you gotta keep your hands inside the ride at all times, you know?
I miss SG and the kids so much this trip. I keep seeing things (and eating things, omg) that I know they'd love, too, and then I get all lonesome for them.
Still cannot string words together into a sentence, but I did finally take a few photos.

It's somewhere just around the corner there.

Jenny and I landed at JFK at 6:30 yesterday morning.
My first afternoon in New York was mostly spent in a drooly sleep on the hotel bed. I'll sleep on the red eye flight. Not so much.
Today my focus is on staying awake and possibly forming sentences. Baby steps.
